Who We Are
Invest U.A.E. is a partnership between the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council and the U.A.E. Embassy Trade & Commercial Office with the goal of highlighting investment opportunities in the U.A.E.
U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council
Soon after its creation less than 10 years ago, the U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council became the premier business organization dedicated to advancing bilateral commercial relations between the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Launched in May 2007 and inaugurated by His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Business Council membership has grown to over 150 American and Emirati companies and key stakeholders from across a range of sectors, with each realizing significant opportunity by better aligning with the U.A.E.’s long-term diversification strategies.
The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council works with its members to organize first-class programming, including high-level trade missions, road shows, and must-attend events across the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates. The Business Council also leverages its extensive networks to provide unparalleled access to senior decision makers in business and government with the aim of expanding relationships, identifying “win-win” partnerships, and assisting with growing market share and solving problems. In addition, the Business Council keeps its members abreast of the latest developments in the bilateral relationship and provides a voice for the business communities of both countries to speak out about critical policy priorities and espouse the importance of the U.S.-U.A.E. trade and commercial relationship more broadly.
In providing a detailed overview of the U.A.E.’s startup ecosystem, this report is meant to serve as a resource for entrepreneurs and startups looking to establish themselves in the U.A.E. It is also intended to highlight the many opportunities the U.A.E.’s burgeoning startup scene provides for U.S. investors. As always, the Business Council stands ready to assist companies as they navigate their entry into the U.A.E.
